Overview

Free up shelf space by storing larger, bulkier items directly on your boltless shelving uprights. Rack-Ware Large Gear Hooks provide a wide two-arm hanging area for coiled air hoses, garden and water hoses, extension cords, rope, cables, straps, tool bags and other oversized gear.

The tool-free design installs in openings already present in compatible shelving posts. Position the hooks at convenient heights, then remove and reposition them whenever your equipment or storage layout changes.

Each pack contains two Large Gear Hooks. Use them together on one rack end to organize several bulky items or place them in different locations around your shelving system.

Compatibility

Designed to work with many common keyhole, wedge and rectangular rack-post openings, including compatible rectangular openings spaced 1.5 or 3 inches on center. Manufacturer designs vary, so compare your rack-post openings with the product images and measurements before ordering.

Known compatible shelving includes many Husky racks sold by Home Depot, select racks sold by Lowe’s and many Muscle Rack models. This product is not intended for Husky rack posts with openings spaced two inches on center.

Installation

Guide the mounting neck through the compatible openings in the rack upright. Angle the hook as needed, then pull it downward until it is fully seated and securely supported by the post.

Gently test the hook before adding an item. Position stored gear so it does not interfere with rack stability, shelf access, doors, vehicles or surrounding walkways.

Important product note

Use only with compatible steel rack uprights and remain within the published load limit. Confirm that each hook is fully seated before use. Gear Hooks are intended only for storage and must not be used as steps, handles, lifting points or personal-support devices.
